CRIME VICTIMS’ WEEK
APRIL 26 – May 2, 2009
“Justice will only be served when victims are treated with respect and compassion, provided with information and assistance to exercise their rights under law, and offered services to help them cope with the devastating effects of crime,” Will Feland, Prosecuting Attorney, 23rd Judicial District said. “During this Silver Anniversary of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week and throughout the year, we can recommit the collective energies of our community to making justice a reality for crime victims, and to making sure that victims and survivors are aware of the VINE program and other victim services that can provide them help and hope.”
